I am a European lawyer with a solid legal background and extensive experience in various cities across Europe including Madrid, Dublin, Nottingham, Barcelona, London, Malta, Brussels, Jerez de la Frontera, and most recently in Sotogrande and Gibraltar.

My expertise lies in corporate law within an international context, and I am proficient in providing legal advice in both Spanish and English. My focus areas encompass real estate investments, international trade, international law, business advisory, customs, and cross-border law between Spain and Gibraltar.

I possess vast experience in maritime law, shipping business, international law, civil and commercial law, real estate law, hotel investments, insurance, traffic accidents, and international criminal law, with a high level of success in achieving my clients' objectives.

I am a creative, steadfast, and charismatic individual who enjoys positively interacting with others. I adapt quickly to new environments and challenges, and I am committed to continuous self-improvement.

Currently, I am a founding partner of the law firm LEGAL Rock, based in the Campo de Gibraltar, providing legal assistance throughout the European Union. Additionally, I have completed the Professional Certificate of Legal Competence in Gibraltar (United Kingdom, does not practise law in Gibraltar).

In her role, Mrs. Mercedes represents the procurator in all legal proceedings before the courts, ensuring a smooth and diligent management of each case. Her responsibilities include preparing and filing documents and overseeing procedural steps, providing thorough supervision at every stage.

DR. MANUEL BENÍTEZ PÉREZ

International Tax Lawyer

Dr. Manuel Benítez Pérez is an international tax lawyer dedicated to advising clients with cross-border interests, optimising their tax positions within the legal framework. His experience includes handling complex cases before the Spanish Tax Authority, and his career spans prominent firms such as Konsell Abogados y Asesores, Ernst & Young, and Montero Aramburu Abogados, where he has developed expertise in high-level international tax planning for individuals and corporations.

Alongside his professional practice, Dr. Manuel Benítez is actively involved in academic research and teaching in the tax field, with a particular focus on the fiscal relationship between Spain and Gibraltar. His studies have been published in leading journals, including articles such as "Gibraltar and Brexit: A New Framework for Resolving Tax Residency Conflicts" (Quincena Fiscal, 2021) and "The International Tax and Financial Interest Protection Agreement between Spain and the United Kingdom in Relation to Gibraltar" (Revista de Contabilidad y Tributación, 2023).

Currently, Dr. Manuel Benítez heads the International Tax Department at Konsell Abogados y Asesores and provides advisory services at Legal Rock. He is fluent in Spanish and English and has conversational knowledge of French, allowing him to offer a tailored service to international clients.
